Stephen K. Davis

Stephen K. Davis is the President of Stephen K. Davis Financial Services LTD., DBA Safe Harbor Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor. He holds a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) Series 7 General Securities License, his Series 63 Uniform Securities License, and Series 24 Principals License.  He is currently a Managing Field Associate of American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc., a full-service broker/dealer and registered member of FINRA/SIPC.
 
Mr. Davis began his career in the financial services industry in 1976 after leaving a successful commercial fishing business he founded in 1968. As a partner in the firm Employee Benefit Planners, Stephen helped educator’s plan for retirement through workshops and seminars.
 
In 1982 Stephen entered the financial planning industry and began providing a broad array of investment vehicles to serve his client’s needs.  In 1989, Safe Harbor Capital Corp. was formed as a vehicle to provide fee based planning and investment advice to clients needing more sophisticated services. The name was changed to Safe Harbor Asset Management in 1995.
 
Stephen is a noted speaker on the subjects of financial and estate planning, and has lectured on the application of Modern Portfolio Theory and asset allocation to associations and trade groups. 
 
He has been quoted in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. 
 
An accomplished watercolorist, Stephen has exhibited his paintings in numerous galleries and art shows and continues to paint in his spare time. He is an avid skier and boating enthusiast.
