Stephen K. Davis                                                
President
 
Stephen K. Davis is the President of Stephen K. Davis Financial Services LTD., DBA Safe Harbor Asset Management. Currently, Mr. Davis is a Registered Principal and with American Portfolios Financial Services, a full service broker dealer and registered member of FINRA/SIPC. He holds series 24 and series 7 securities licenses and is Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer of the Registered Investment Advisor Safe Harbor Asset Management.

 

Mr. Davis has over 30 years experience in financial services. The inception of his career began in 1976 as a partner with Employee Benefit Planners. As an educator, Stephen presented retirement workshops and seminars.

In 1989, the corporate RIA Safe Harbor Capital Corp. was formed; now known as Safe Harbor Asset Management. The RIA was established to provide fee based financial services.

Mr. Davis continues to lecture on various subjects regarding asset allocation, risk management, portfolio composition and his application of the Modern Portfolio Theory to trade groups and associations.

His work has been quoted in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He is also a published writer. Most recently Mr. Davis authored the article, What to do About the 401(k); featured in the June 2010 issue of Financial Advisor Magazine.

Residing in Centerport, NY; Mr. Davis enjoys boating, skiing, and is an accomplished watercolorist. His work has been exhibited in local art showcases.
